MAAR was founded by a designer born in Morocco, raised in New Zealand, now based in London. With a background in engineering, she brings structure, curiosity and problem-solving into everything she makes.

Growing up in Morocco, she spent hours visiting fabric shops with her family, selecting trims, working with seamstresses. Fascinated by clothes she couldn't afford, she was inspired to create her own.
